For this student project, an animal of desire was chosen to do a series of realistic encyclopedic, corporate logo, transformation, and gesture images. Using each four of these esthetics helps us as designers build off of one subject matter and brainstorm many different ideas. While there was a main guideline to follow for this assignment, there was lots of room for creativity and ways to make it personable.

Here are all four of the seahorse drawings finished. First up is the logo which the pen tool in Illustrator was used to create it. Filling in a few sections of the seahorse helped create some value. Next was the Gesture drawing which was just a quick and fast process to get the main essence of the seahorse. The India Ink pen was used for this and helped create that quick flowy feel. After the logo, the encyclopedia drawing was made. This drawing was created using a variety of different pencils. Lastly, was the transformation seahorse. This was the seahorse where creativity was able to flow. So for this, the decision was made to create a superhero seahorse using Micron pens.
