Заплющь свої очі. Ти бачиш нас?

Мара перед очима зявляеться під час перехідного стану зі сну, коли ми прокидаємось чи лягаємо спати. Вона просто існує і ніяк не взаємодіє з тобою. Цей згусток енегії не чинить енегрообмін у нашому фізичному світі. Він не живий ні мертвий. Навіть його візуальність неоднозначна. Тепер вона є жителем нашого реального світу.

Close your eyes. Do you see us ?

A Vision appears behind our eyes during the transitional state from sleep, when we waking up or going to sleep. It just exists and does not interact with you. This lump of energy does not carry out energy exchange in our physical world. He is neither alive nor dead. Even its visuality is ambiguous.
IT is now an inhabitant of our real world.

Nida Art Colony of the Vilnius Academy of Arts

Funded by the @lietuvoskulturostaryba, the @ukrainian_emergency_art_fund and the Embassy of Switzerland to Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The exhibition is funded by @goetheinstitut and incorporated into a comprehensive package of measures for which the Federal Foreign Office provides funding from the 2022 Supplementary Budget to mitigate the effects of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.

KAUNAS PICTURE GALLERY

During the war in Ukraine, exhibition curator Lesia Kulchynska invited artists to show the current state of uncertainty with their works. The exhibition was developed for the Nida Art Colony (NAC) of the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 2022 and on view in Nida July 16 - October 16. M. K. Čiurlionis National Museum of Art, expressing support for Ukraine took over the exhibition from NAC and adapted it as a new iteration to the spaces of the Picture Gallery.
