I got the inspiration from the shape of waning moon. On the one hand, considering the high durability of round chopping board due to its thickness, I hoped to retain the advantage. On the other hand, the waning-moon-like shape can not only lighten the weight of round board, but also endow the functions in my concept to the chopping board. Moreover, I thought the waning mood shape of chopping board can bring people a unique visual aesthetic feeling.
