There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. 'Good pride' represents our dignity and self-respect.
'Bad pride' is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance.
For me, everyone has good and bad qualities. I feel you must not always look at the bad qualities but also focus on the good ones, because we all have flaws.
Art is about forgetting all these feelings, good and bad, and trying to understand what acts will last longer, which symbols will remain in history. It's a question of perspective: The further you get from the past, the more concrete and plausible it seems.
