The poetry was my bestfriend since I was a child. In my childhood I learned the poems written by romanian poets: Topârceanu, Alecsandri, Elena Farago and I recited them whenever I had the opportunity. Later in adolescence I fall in love with the beautiful poems of Eminescu, Blaga and Nichita Stănescu, but in a frosty winter I descover the most beautiful form of poetry called “HAIKU”. This form of poetry showed me the beauty of simplicity, I can say that in just three verses you can descover the beauty of the entire Universe. So, the illustration called “ HAIKU” was inspired by an haiku written by an nipon poet called Onitsura:
“ The freshness of the wind
The voice of the pines
Fill the empty sky.”
