Thailand experienced a devastating flood season in October of 2010 that ravaged many parts of the country. Design for Disasters team travelled to different areas in Thailand in order to survey the damage the critical factors which exacerbated the disaster. In addition, they designed and experimented on new flood floatation devices conceived from everyday objects such as used plastic water bottles, fishing nets, rope, plastic bags, and rubber bands.
These infographic sets initiated the results on their experiments and hopefully, these flood-time prototypes will become fully developed to save lives in the future.
