Maria Mezcaleria is an authentic Mezcal restaurant
run by a husband and wife duo in Waco, Texas.
Objective: To offer something exciting & new to both locals and tourists, teach them about the history of Mezcal, and serve the best food & drinks in a homey atmosphere.
As the brand’s name is an homage to the Mexican actress María Félix, I decided
to depict her in the logo, along with an agave plant - the basis of any mezcal spirit.
The graphics are paired with chunky hand drawn typography in an oval lockup.
