Isometric Rooms: 3D_200_01

For Term 1, I was required to create three different rooms in Maya, a bathroom, bedroom and dining room. We were given an isometric room to fill with set furniture and objects.
All assets had to be created from scratch.

For my project, I decided to go for a dollhouse vibe with assets slightly out of proportion to give the impression that they are toys. When texturing I tried to give objects a plastic look.
Term 1: Asset Creation
Term 2: Texturing and Lighting
Reflection
These first two terms were essential in learning how to navigate and use Maya as a tool for modeling and texturing. I learnt how to problem solve creating objects from scratch using various techniques and how to use the Arnold texturing system.
A Special Thanks goes to the Cape Town Creative Academy and to my 3D Lecturer, Stanley Segul for guiding me through this brief.
