Use High Beams at Night

Use High Beams at Night
Vehicle forward lighting is used to help the driver to illuminate the lane and identify the road, obstacles, and traffic signs. Headlight high beam, low beam, and fog lamp functions are mainly used for this purpose.

Use high beams at night when you cannot see enough of the road ahead to drive safely.

When to use high beam headlights to keep safe
1. Low visibility, rural and country roads with few street lights and dark surroundings
2. do not know where other vehicles are
3. depending on weather conditions

Car Owner Review - 2017 Ram with reflector high beams - WOW!
"Perfect beam, no dark spot
I used AUXITO LED in my high beam, perfect adjustable beam, nice and bright, clear crisp white light.
All I can say is, holy crap!!! These high beams are BRIGHT! Wow, excellent product, great price, and it works in a Ram and doesn't throw any errors. Very happy with these. "

Car high beams are generally suitable for use at night on roads with no street lights or poor lighting to help ensure your safety. This increased visibility improves everyone's safety whenever you are driving on dark streets or highways, especially if pedestrians, bicycles, or animals are present. However, don't rely on high beams alone, and remember to always adjust your driving speed to the road conditions.
Tip: You may want to use your high beams in fog, but that's a bad idea! Water particles in fog can reflect light and actually make it harder to see. Keep your low beams on so that other vehicles can see you.

How to change from low beam to high beam
If you use your high beams improperly, they can also endanger other drivers. All states have laws that require you to dim your high beams when there is a risk of blinding other drivers. The exact distance varies from state to state, but typically, high beams should be changed to low beams within 500 feet of an approaching vehicle or within 200 or 300 feet of another vehicle you are following, in order to avoid obstructing the view of oncoming drivers. If the other vehicle does not change to low beams, slow down immediately and use a continuous change of high and low beams to signal the other vehicle. If the other driver does not change to the low beam, you should slow down and stop to the right to avoid the other driver.
