This is a self portrait of me at my current occupation, stylized in the classic "Rubber Hose" technique of the 1930s. Working as a gravedigger has been a spellbinding experience. Learning stories of the recently passed and the heraldry of those long gone; I've gained many experiences working with the deceased. But most of all, have altered my outlook on my own demise. With false superstitions behind me, I have grown as a person and can happily whistle while serving the dead.
