Project name: The zerrO knife

Status: concept

It was designed as my first steps of knifemaking.

So it was the long way, from analyzing which blade shape will be more efficient and stylish at the same time, to tons of questions. Which knife locks are exist? What types of them are patented? What types of hardware are there? How important is thumb stud and its form for comfortable one-handed opening?
And what kind of materials are used in knifemaking industry right now?)
And the last question was the one of the bulls-eye question)
I came across the Ti-mascus... Absolutely insane colors, production, pattern variations... It was like a breath of fresh air.
At the same time I need something, that would distinguish this knife from others... If you know that all of the "mid/high-tech" foldable knives using ball bearings you will actually see way of my thoughts) I also wanted to use ball bearing in my design, but...wanedt it to be giant, strong, reliable. So now its the dominant component in this case (and thumb stud is like his little brother))
My brains immediately worked, and the project was ready in one night)
That was the great experience, hope you enjoy)
Thanks for watching)
