THE HORROR OF DRACULA!
My wife and I occasionally do this thing we call Mystery Movie Night. Essentially, we each pick a movie in secret and have a double bill - sometimes we pick a theme, sometimes we just try and find movies we haven't seen before, but it always makes for a fun, eclectic selection! Recently, I picked Hammer's 1958 version of Dracula (also known as Horror of Dracula overseas).
It was my first time watching, and I absolutely loved it. And I've now found myself going down a bit of a Hammer Horror rabbit hole. Anyways, I was inspired to draw/paint some scenes from Dracula, starring the incomparable Peter Cushing and Christopher Lee, and here they are! They're not all entirely successful, but I think the lighting is pretty effective on all of them, and they were pretty fun to do.
