French soldiers (ww1)
___________Description : French soldiers of the 23rd Infantry Regiment, in a trench, possibly in the Péronne's sector, on the road between Maricourt and Péronne, during the battle of the Somme. The germans were fortified not far, in the Hem's wood.
Date : End of July 1916.
