The Huurre product family is a product concept that was realized as a result of teamwork for Drop Design Pool in the Design Project course.
The task was to design a new type of cover and pool cover for Drop Design Pool's existing outdoor pool. Criteria for the deck included adequate weather resistance and safety. The product also had to be suitable for Spanish atmosphere with sun beaches and villas.
The result was the Huurre product family, which includes the Pisara pool cover, Lasi cover and the Jääpala porch. The range aims to follow the luxury feel of the Drop Design Pool brand.

he other members of the team were Antti Oksanen and Sonja Dallyn. In addition to brainstorming, my own responsibility in the group work was to make 3d models of the deck, which were used in the final illustrations, while Antti Oksanen made the rendered images from the 3d models. During the course I learned more about using Rhino 3d and surface modelling.
