Haunting Retina Scans

This quadrant of scans utilizes color fundus photographs of my eyes from July that have been digitally distorted. The scans feel ominous because of the bent veins, over lightened areas, and mirrored, blurred, and fading imagery. The two layered scans are meant to make one feel trapped as if they are in a maze. This piece represents being fearful of what scans of my eyes will show and whether a disease will make its presence.
