I decided to make my photoshoot a winter wonderland theme because of the upcoming winter season. To me, winter has a cozy feeling to it, and I wanted to portray that in my product photos. I felt that the “snow” would have a sort of nostalgic, calming feeling, something that can connect to childhoods, or when times were really good. I placed a shiny fabric behind the product to give the glue stick a little more glamour and shine. Elmer’s Glue Sticks are commonly used in schools everywhere, and I felt that distilling feelings of calm, coziness, and childhood into my photos would help to contribute these factors into my work, and make this magical glue stick more appealing.
