花丝镶嵌是一门传承久远的中国传统手工技艺，有着上千年的历史，主要用于皇家饰品的制作。为“花丝”和“镶嵌”两种制作技艺的结合。花丝选用金、银、铜为原料，采用掐、填、攒、焊、编织、堆垒等传统技法。
我的父亲有着四十多年的花丝镶嵌制作经验，今年六月，一对新婚夫妇找到我，希望我父亲为他们制作一套结婚用首饰，包括耳坠、戒指、吊坠、手镯。整套首饰由18k金制作，并镶嵌玛瑙、松石以及珍珠，整体制作周期耗时三个月。

Filigree Inlaid Metal Art is a long-standing traditional Chinese handicraft with a history of thousands of years, mainly used in the production of royal ornaments. It is a combination of two production techniques of "filigree" and "inlay".
