Explanation of the creation of the "Vortex" beer

Dear Sir or Madam,

Vortex is a new design for a beer brand that has just been created. It is based on the theme of nothingness and chaos.

This brand allows to make react all the generations, by a clear and representative motive of the planets of our solar system. As seen on the poster, the goal is to give this "recreational" aspect of the beer by explaining with illustrations what it will be able to get as emotion.

Vortex links this vast universe that surrounds us in a new and modern design. We wanted to attract the customer's attention, first of all by a choice of colors which is explained by the chosen theme. Finally, by the color of the asteroids that we all know at the moment.

The choice of planets is explained by one of the only ideas that we have of space because no one has seen them with his own eyes. That's why at Vortex we want everyone to have a closer look. We know that 80% of people remember logos that they can easily recreate, so we didn't want to overfill our label.

As for the choice of our typography as well as our background, we chose something simple, but that could transmit the values of Vortex, we really wanted to start with a "stick" type font that's why we opted for this royalty free font "Caviar Dream". The background was often modified, due to its importance for us, the dark was the key element. But by researching and looking for several images representative of the universe, 2 colors came out, purple and black, that's why we made this gradient.

In conclusion, with this brand, Vortex, we wanted to make sure that it could bring a side of renewal in the big brands of current beers. The choice of the simplicity is explained by the will to be able, perhaps later, to be associated with various products.
