The third work is a community practice project where I use Hydra to create a filter-like function and share the website with my community of practice (friends and family). Click here to interact with the project.
Filter has become a common thing in social media nowadays.But I still remember when it just started to become a trend. I use to play with the filters with my friend. Not to take any picture, but just to play with it.

Putting that idea in mind, I created something similar with hydra. The reason why I use hydra is because hydra is a good for visuals and easy to access on any device. Not to mention that the creator of hydra, Olivia Jack also create Hydra  with similar intention, to connect with people, that’s why there is a share function and a twitter bot for Hydra.

To maximize what I can create in a single screen, I have 4 output for my hydra code. This is why there are four frame with different source function on the screen.

When I show the code to my friend, their initial reaction is confused because they are not familiar with these things. After getting some guidance to move around and make a sound, they start to have fun and do their own thing.
Community of Practice (CoP) = friends
domain = social media (LINE, WhatsApp, Discord, WeChat)
repertoire = sitting down, moving around, clapping, speaking.
values = fun, confused, amazed.
Responds:
“I thought it still under development because there’s code on top of it”
“It’s quite random, but wow”
“It’s confusing, but it’s okay”
“It’s amazing that you can make that with just some words”
“That’s really fun”
“It’s a bit confusing on how to use it. It’s more like a Photo Booth but without the recording function. Overall, it’s cute and fun. There’s interaction with movement and sound”
“It is fun. Less code can do lots of things”
