Matsya takes inspiration from the ever loving culture of respecting the surrounding ecosystem in different cultures of the Indian subcontinent. The collection is inspired from the tribal roots of the representation of the Fish in the textiles of Bomkai, Odisha, and the earthy colors extracted from the natural ingredients in these textiles. The designs are an ode to the ever flowing fight of the new age young population who are learning to respect their ecosystem and find comfort in their loving home planet.. 

After the final motif iterations and colorboard, surfaces were developed with the use of TexCAD, Illustrator and Photoshop which aligned with the new age market while respecting the original identity of the motif.
