T.Surf: Dimensions: W1.2m x D0.5m x H0.45m

"One" is inspired by the famous drawing of Leonardo Da Vinci’s, “L’Uomo Vitruviano”. “The Vitruvian Man”. A drawing by the genius Leonardo that shows the correlations of the ideal human proportions. 

He wrote: “ a palm is four fingers”, a foot is four palms”, “a man is 24 palms”, "the length of the hand is one-tenth of the height of a man”, “the maximum width of the shoulders is a quarter of the height of a man”. 

Through the process of making the stool I tried to attribute the “ideal” proportions that would make the stool a functional and outstanding design. But I also wanted to stimulate one's mind. So I decided to create a set of combination of two types of holes that one can let their creativity flow and create through the holes their own unique masterpiece using either paper cord, ropes, cotton wool, strips of old t-shirts, bamboo or a combination of materials. Create anything you like! 

Hand crafted using pine and mansonia wood. The holes can be custom made at your preference, with no extra charge.
