CYCLE - A Danish Restaurant

CONCEPT:
The design of CYCLE is derived from a combination of aspects of the Danish culture.  The majority of Danes own bicycles and use them as their primary mode of transportation.  Sustainability is an important aspect of the Danish culture, and the Danes are very good about recycling and upcycling materials.  The word "cycle" is defined as "a course or series of events or operations that recur regularly and usually lead back to the same starting point".  The design of the large structure that loops throughout the restaurant is
a direct representation of a cycle.  It is a continuous loop that originates from one specific point. All of the
materials used in this restaurant are either sustainable or recycled.  The Danish style of design is simple
and minimalistic, and usually displays pops of bright colors.  The majority of CYCLE is white, with pops of bright green, spiraling light features, and mirrors to enhance the space.
