In this project, I was to visually describe the past lives of Elizabeth Farm, one of the oldest homes in Australia, “finding ways” through the stories of people who once lived there.
Focusing on the kitchen area with a wide range of culinary related objects, the design outcome is a set of flipbooks that double up as signages. With the choice of sepia toned paper, each flipbook represents a slice of vintage film that depicts how a culinary object functions and was used for cooking or making products, topping with hidden “plates” of historical dishes and recipes.
