About Easel:

Easel is a brand design project for an hypotetical contemporary Art Gallery logo and brand image.

Easel Art Gallery, was founded in Milan, Italy in 2010, to host the work of modern and contemporary artists from all over the world. We built a distinguished collection that includes many artists, all relatively unknown at the time. Over the years we acquired works ranging from Arte Povera to Spatialism. Thanks to our inextinguishable passion for art, we are earning a reputation as critically engaged champions of developing artists, one who contributed significantly to launching many of their careers. 

The exhibitions are designed to create a dialogue between the artworks and the gallery’s space, which is adapted to the different needs or respectively conceptualised so as to showcase the works in the best manner. The interiors of Easel Art Gallery, are suitable for installations, performances and exhibitions, to offer the public moments and experiences of proximity to the artists and proximity to their works, in a nice and refined environment. 


The Logotype

The Art Gallery’s logotype, is composed of two parts. The first part represents the name of the gallery, “Easel”, which refers to the tool that usually helds the paintings when are beeing realised or exhibited. It was realized using the font “Riesling”. Letters “A” and “E” have been united through their descendants, creating an elegant and sophisticated look. The second part of the logo consists of the words “Art Gallery”, realized with the font “Poppins” in ExtraLight weight.
