This work was created after watching the movie Kusama: Infinite Worlds.
I was very fascinated by the story of a little girl from a small town in Japan who managed to become one of the most commercially successful and influential female artists in the world.
When I began to study her work more closely, I found a beautiful quote describing her philosophy:
"I'm just another dot in the world."
I thought it would be a great idea to make a reference to Japanese culture, which calls to live in unity with nature and admire its beauty in the moment.
I printed out my work on photo paper and took it with me on a trip to the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine.
I propose to read my vision of her portrait.
