In TaTa's eyes : through my lens PIKINE comes alive. 

 

In this project I documented the daily life in (PIKINE) known as one of the most isolate and crowded neighborhood in Sain-Louis, Senegal. 
 

In 2022, I made the decision to travel to Senegal, where I was fortunate to join a volunteer mission with the association Femme et Enfant, dedicated to aiding single mothers and children. the association is based  in Saint-Louis, specifically in the bustling neighborhood of Pikine, known as one of the city's most densely populated areas. Documenting daily life there proved both challenging and deeply meaningful for me. My aim was to capture the experiences of a Pikine resident throughout their day, with each picture telling a unique story.
