ARCHITECTURAL LANGUAGE

The design plays with the notion of 'the space in between'  - a place which feels solid and real from afar, yet when touched, it feels dreamlike, an illusion not from this world.  It creates an architectural dialogue between real and virtual spaces - those which choose the middle path may eventually unlock the truth of Buddhism and reach Nirvana.

ARCHITECTURAL STYLE

This is not another modern twist on traditional Chinese architecture, rather, it is exemplifying and portraying Oriental Architecture's fundamental elements to its simplist form - symmetry, sequence, structural elegance.
