I decided to make a page dedicated to all the boxes I designed for the BioShock Infinite vigor bottles. This is a master page, for more detail shots and process, visit the individual pages.

A note: these are the public, released boxes--more might be coming out soon, but I am not at liberty to say what and when!

Undertow: the first vigor box I designed, definitely inspired by one of the first liquor bottles I fancied--the Bombay Sapphire bottle. Similarly to the Ultimate Songbird box, I designed the corners and edges to look a little worn, so that any slight damage incurred while shipping wouldn't stand out (much). The typography for 'Undertow' was inspired by the 'Voxophone' advertisement in-game.

Possession: admittedly this design started out VERY differently, looking much more green on green on green with a bit of an absinthe overload. I digitally drew the ladies and created some 'orgasmic' filigree, as Ken's biggest criticism of my earlier iteration was that it wasn't oozing with enough sex. That's the point of this bottle in-game, to appeal to the female Columbian who wants to tame her stallion.

Devil's Kiss: this was never printed on the proper box because I was not able to get on the project in time. Fun fact though, I did burn a lot of paper and white boxes to get all that unique burn texture as correct as possible. The final PDF will be available soon.

Murder of Crows: the final box I designed, and my favorite. I wanted this to be inspired by beautiful old vaults and lock boxes, that bluish metal with fine gold filigree--it should look dense but have a nice spidery feel as well. The final PDF will be available soon.

Better late than never! The Bucking Bronco box was designed around the same time as the Devil's Kiss box, but is actually available now for pre-order!
