A cafe, shown below, is a part of renovated social building of the logistic center in Lübtheen. This project got inspired by American popular culture, especially American diners, which were at the top of their popularity in mid 20th century. Like diners, this cafe shares main functional characteristics: it's a place to socialize, open 24 hours, where people eat when working a late shift or enjoy a meal any time of day. Different typical details were also incorporated into the design, like deep button tufting banquet seats, upholstered in leather, black&white checkerboard tile, metal details and neon lighting.
