Portraits commissioned for the 2014 TED Conference in Vancouver, BC. 60 in total. Most have unique sketched patterns to related to the speakers contributions to their respective fields.

And it's really all about the details. For John I wanted to reference the Mathematical and Interaction tone of the work that we so well know him for. Certainly details that would be missed at first glance for the conference, but a detail that would give the portrait a deeper appreaciation beyond the aesthetics of the result. After all a portrait should be personal.
