LA PAREIDOLIA

"Pareidolia" is the human tendency to read signidicance into random or vague stimuli. The appreance of a face where there is none is one of the most common varients of pareidolia. It was once thought of as a symptom of psychosis, but is now recognized as a normal, human tendency.

I drew this piece on the plane sitting in a cramped economy class seat.
The clicking sound of my Apple Pencil touching the Ipad screen was so loud
and I got paranoid that people were looking at me.
The faces and the lips represent my paranoia and fear of people's judgment.
