Rotoscope Animation
For this project, I was tasked with creating a short 2D animated film. I was so excited to work on this one because it allowed me to demonstrated my knowledge and technique of a type of 2D animation called "Rotoscoping". Rotoscoping is the process of creating animated sequences by tracing over live-action footage frame by frame.
I used limited colors as to not distract from the figure dancing and to add a unique style to my animated film. As the figure moves, shapes and lines appear and disappear. They move with and dance with the figure.
