广州是一个包容性极强的城市，“读懂广州”的主题让我联想到，现代生活下老广州人依然在延续着的习惯—喝早茶、喝凉茶、看粤剧，同时在画面中融入了广州特色的花砖、满洲窗、木棉花、骑楼、白色背心、拖鞋等的老广标志，同时融入远处的现代高楼大厦，现代与历史的结合在画面中，呈现出一个极具生活气息、包容性强的广州。
