No Bear Left Behind
Animals Asia has launched a short animation to highlight the urgent need to build a second sanctuary in Vietnam for the last few hundred bile bears in the country.
I'm so thankful for the opportunity to work on this project to create a short story that anyone, regardless of where they're from in the world, can relate to and understand: our collective, human instinct for wanting to help those in need.
The cartoon follows the story of a young Vietnamese child who, while out walking with her parents, sees a teddy moon bear in the gutter. The girl rushes over to rescue the teddy, and the family heads home to clean and bandage him up.
This is also my first time collaborating with the talented artist Camelia Pham.
“The story clearly represents Animals Asia’s biggest challenge to date: to build a second sanctuary in Vietnam so we can rescue the last few hundred bears who still live on bile farms
We hope this animation speaks to people all across the world, regardless of their age, background or language, and resonates with the universal human instinct for compassion.”
