Art Jeju: Emerging from a new wave —
Jeju Island, South Korea’s most symbolic vacation spot, is known for its powerful waves. In order to visualize the landscape of Jeju with waves, Ordinary People created visual concept of “New Wave” by using vibrant colors and rhythmically repeated typography. Art Jeju aims to transform the existing art market into a new model and it is expressed through the cliff(art market) changing its colors when the waves(new) hit. Wave-like typography is delivered more directly through motion, and various shapes the New creates is applied to other applications as well as the poster.
