Creative Brief:

Having staff members scattered across the country during Work From Home status didn't allow for the usual celebratory moment, when we exchange hand written signatures on each others posters to celebrate the launch of our game. How can we celebrate everyone who worked on the game in an original way that is reminiscent of getting your key art poster filled with hand written signatures from your colleagues?

Having a tight deadline because of print delays I leveraged previously designed key art from other print and social media projects, I then designed an original key art piece that stayed in the game's brand, while embedding everyone's name who worked on the game.

Keyart used for reference and inspiration:
The Proposal:

Make a hybrid version of the key art that felt unique and special to the staff members. Inspired by the ripped paper look, I continued that execution to the extreme to have every team members name there.
The Final Product:

Getting to the final product was a little bit of a challenge because of two things, I had to imitate the distressed look of painted over typography, but still have everyone's name legible. So I made dummy copy that could be covered up to get that look while leaving no name left behind.

The second thing was proofing this thing was a nightmare, I had to make alternative versions which were much more legible for additional eyes and then turn the effects back on when it was ready for print. So we had 2 copies going back and forth to keep track of.

Everyone loved this poster over the the original key art because it felt personalized to them and their colleagues/friends. I'm pretty sure some people still managed to to get even this poster signed for nostalgia.
