The Scarecrow and the Kite

The Scarecrow and the Kite
Once upon a time a scarecrow that envied a kite, because despite both being made of the same materials, the kite could fly through the skies and play with people, while he had to stay in land alone, because nobody wants to play with a scarecrow.
Every time the wind coursed trough the fields, the poor scarecrow stretched his arms, waiting for the current to rise him as the kites, but he was pinned to the ground, and the wind just went through their hollow reeds, without moving it, though, a funny thing happened, as the wind cross his rods, it made all kinds of sounds, like a flute, but the Scarecrow was so absorbed, wanting to be a kite, he never realized it.
However, one day a young man walked by the fields of the scarecrow, and when the wind blew, a sweet melody caught his attention, and lead him to the poor rag doll. And when the wind ceased, the sweet symphony of wind was changed by a short round of applause, which took the Scarecrow by surprise, as he had never seen a person applaud.
The man walked off, leaving the Scarecrow wondering what just have happened, until he saw him coming again, hours later, with his family and friends, who watched the Scarecrow as him watched them back. Sudenly, the whispering of people stopped when a gust of wind went through the field and hitting the dummy, released a loud concert, which took all the present by surprise, including the scarecrow itself, who, always aware of the comets had never taken the time to paid attention to it, and when the wind stop, and all present began cheering at the symphony, the scarecrow felt it had found something bigger than being able to fly, something neither kites could do, something that made him unique and special.
And from that day, the news spread and people from all over the world came to hear the symphony of the scarecrow, who stop envying kites because he was not alone anymore, and everything just by being himself.
