INDIGO Creative Cultural Brand (2022)

Vietnam is a culturally diverse country with 54 ethnic groups, each of which has its own unique nuance that we believe deserves to be celebrated, appreciated and known more. After the peak of the Covid 19 pandemic,
Vietnam's tourism is reviving strongly, creating a favorable opportunity to promote Vietnamese
ethnic groups’ culture, contributing to increasing their regional tourism, economy and lives.

Under that circumstance, INDIGO was founded as a local brand specializing in the design, production and sales of culture-artistic products, which contain illustrations featuring the cultural traits of ethnic groups in Vietnam. Run entirely by young people full of love and passion for art and ethnic culture, our products are a blend of tradition-appreciating and unique, modern spirit, expressing the creativity of the brand's "young artists"
through careful design and selection, using sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.

Born with the mission of a social-oriented enterprise, we tell the cultural stories of the Vietnamese ethnicity
to domestic and international friends, not only to promote the Vietnamese ethnic culture, but also
to aim for a sustainable and better life for the ethnic communities.

“Xà Cạp” - a type of footless legging keeping them warm in winter.
Tằng Cẩu
Hair bun on top of the head

Tang Cau is a tradition from the Black Thai ethnic group and is done by Black Thai women when getting married.
The bun is quite high on the head so a special helmet has been invented to both ensure
traffic safety for them and keep the traditional custom away from abolishment.
Hát Then
Sky Folk Singing

Hát Then, or Sky Folk Singing, is a form of long folk song of the Tay ethnic group, with religious shades
narrating the journey to heaven to pray the Jade Emperor to solve a problem for the home owner.

The costume of Tay people is simply designed, but meaningful to them. Tay people are fond of wearing silver jewelry, and have a highly developed skill of weaving brotile.
