A delayed image for this week - I decided not to post yesterday. Close ups of flora aren't my comfort zone - I think the spider needed to go into makeup to have some of the water mopped off! However, I find the webs mesmerizing. I tried for a minimalistic approach by trying to shoot against the sky but couldn't get the angle and light it needed, so here it is against the heather. I think there's a beauty and a threat in the image (I'm not really a spider fan) but as someone who's interested in Landscape photography, I find the light and shape attractive.
