Again and again the mutations of contemporary life are the central theme of Franco Berardi's Phenomenology of the End, and no, it is not about finger elongations, forked tongues or amplified visions, there are no three-eyed walkers in the streets or neighbors with tentacles, but children who are placed in front of screens for long hours as soon as they are born, adults who cannot hold a conversation because they have to check their phones, school classrooms with flat screens and family meals in front of the television, these are the mutations of life in 2022, our body has already changed, our neck adapts every day to new situations, our eyesight will have to change, for better or for worse. Today it is known that the light emitted by the screens crosses our dermis and discolors it. Since we have always been immersed in this long and silent process of evolution, we will not have to perceive the rarefaction, since it will come naturally. Una y otra vez las mutaciones de la vida contemporánea son el tema central de “Fenomenología del fin” de Franco Berardi, y no, no se trata de alargamientos dactilares, lenguas bífidas ni visiones amplificadas, no hay caminantes de tres ojos en las calles ni vecinos con tentáculos, pero sí niños que apenas al nacer se les coloca frente a pantallas durante largas horas, adultos que no pueden sostener una conversación porque tienen que revisar su teléfonos, aulas escolares con pantallas planas y comidas familiares frente a la televisión, estas son las mutaciones de la vida en el 2022, nuestro cuerpo ha cambiado ya, nuestro cuello se adapta cada día a las nuevas situaciones, nuestra vista tendrá que cambiar, para bien o para mal. Hoy se sabe que la luz emitida por las pantallas atraviesa nuestra dermis y la decolora. Como estamos inmersos desde siempre en este largo y silencioso proceso de la evolución, no habremos de percibir el enrarecimiento, pues éste llegará de forma natural. De aquí parto, del enrarecimiento de los vínculos.
