This wall graphic was created for The Boys and Girls Club for their teen center in Denver. Gensler wanted to revamp the B&G Teen Center to have an 80’s arcade aesthetic. The limitations to the project were

• Budget
• Simple enough to be fabricated by Gensler staff.

Through some research I decided to take elements from popular games and make an abstract graphic. Inspired by Tron, PacMan, and Tetris, this wall graphic is fun, captures the 80’s arcade, and is simple enough for staff implementation. Some inclusions, if budget allowed, was to include boxes the same size or close to the size of the squares. The boxes would work as shelves and/or cubbies.
