Crystal Series 01 / Heart

The first in what will be a series of projects titled Crystal. I'm not sure how many of these I'll do, but this was fun to create and I'm really looking forward to making more.

 

I didn't render this one in 3ds Max, this one is almost exactly as I sketched it. I wanted to create the look of a faceted jewel, but I didn't want to stick to a set of rules. I just drew facets where I thought they fit and chose one to reflect light to the viewer and be the center of brightness.
