INNOVATIVE CONCEPT
My team and I had to come up with a solution to connect Smollan's dispersed
field force. This involved all of Smollan's staff. We also had to find a way to
train Smollan's employees.
My team's name was called Titaners because we were tasked to bring Smollan's staff together and to be a strong team at the same time.
I helped with the research, concept development, implementation, the creation of the Titaners logo, and designing of the presentation.
We analyzed what Smollan currently has for learning and development and we came
up with a solution of having a "Smollan FM/Podcast". The Smollan FM/Podcast
would be accessed on the employee's cellphones because cellphones are a
necessity for Smollan's employees.
The Smollan FM/Podcast would connect Smollan's frontline workers (b-band staff)
and office employees in a fun and interactive way. This would build the culture
of the business, which is the key to a great working environment.
Relevant training would also be provided on the podcast and be stored on an app
that Smollan usually uses for training.
We were chosen as one of the finalists to present our concept to Smollan's executives.
