Flying Nun is an indie music recording company based in New Zealand. 2011 marks their 30th anniversary, therefore the brief was to create a CD cover to celebrate Flying Nun’s anniversary. The concept for this packaging was derived from the character in the Flying Nun logo itself; the character was illustrated through a combination of quirky identities throughout the entire packaging. The songs produced by Flying Nun are also rather quirky which makes the chosen concept highly suitable for the musical experience Flying Nun offers.
