New textile pattern for "First in Space" fashion brand SS 2022 collection. This fashion collection is called "Summer in the Village". When I drew this textile pattern I was inspired by my childhood memories of summer vacation in my granny's village. The pattern consists of little stories- illustrations. For example, big and strange turkeys, who scared me, when I was a little girl. Enormous watering can, that I could hardly move when my grandmother asked for help her. Paper Boat that I moved to sail in a puddle. Big Black cat, who always tried to catch little birds. In this pattern, I depicted my childhood memories and striking events.
I drew this pattern in a soft pastel technique with delicate color gradients.
After the end of the creative drawing part. I started technical preparing files for the printing.
I created several color test files. And after that, I sent patterns for printing on different fabrics, such as cotton, linen, and jacquard. I worked with clothing designers, seamstresses, and printing engineers at the factory to create beautiful and quality garments.
For example, dresses, shirts, pants, t-skirts, and jackets.
