This character is named Seth. He is in his early 20’s and is about 6’1 in height. He has skin white as ash ,deep red eyes and jet black hair. With the minor descriptions out of the way the poses for this assignment are meant to convey sadness. In the first pose you can see his shoulders are shifted downward. Additionally in his knees you can see his body is slightly slouching. This gives a feeling of giving up or hopelessness. His face also shows this emotion as well. In the second pose , Seth's body is laid out and he is covering his face with his left arm. This shows sadness but conveying the feeling of concealment. Although the body is spread out it still shows a sincere sense disarray with his emotions. And lastly the third pose, this pose shows Seth in a closed position. This gives them a feeling of isolation where the  feeling of sadness arises.
In regard to Seth’s story he lives in a society where one must kill to show strength. But Seth is not a killer until the day he was forced to take a life. He was forced into a ritualistic battle where the weak must be sacrificed. In the battle he has to show his strength by fighting his brother to the death. And at the end of the battle Seth wins the fight and kills his brother. Although in the tribe this is seen as victory , this means only sadness to Seth. This event replays over and over and plagues his mind. The hard fact that he took his one and only brother's life.  To end things out the most visually important part for each pose is its ability to show sadness regardless if the pose is open or closed.  I feel that most people are drawn to pose three for the reason it’s emotionally compelling.
