The crossword is Polish
The main assumption of the work is the problem with socio-cultural identity. When we cannot find ourselves in the reality in which we were born. I presented this problem as crossword puzzles arranged in the shape of a map of Poland. Passwords do not represent exact places, in the end they are just words. The second part of the work is just a representation of the feelings of lost and confusion when all the words overlap.
Originally, the work was created through a collage of crossword slogans, which I pasted into similar places on the map of Poland. Then the work was scanned and enlarged. The first part of the diptych was screenprinted in the yellow, magenta and blue they were channels from the orginal picture converted into a halftone screen. The second part is a contour with words printed multiple times in black.
