This set was designed for the upstair Trinity Theatre stage. The set was inspired by an abandon factory in Providence. The place is cluttered, rusted, and messy much like the state of Denmark and an extension of Hamlet's psychology. Decay is a major theme to the design of the "castle" and dictated the overall tone of the visuals of the play.
