I was commissioned for the art direction and graphic design of the debut of Doug Boykin's Greatest Hits Volume II. Boykin is a local country singer originally from Daytona, Fl. His guitar and vocals not only evoke nostalgia, but also a sense of place, the desire of living in the wild and meeting people who think alike. His story telling takes us on a journey on meeting people whom he met and a celebration of country living, perhaps life in general. The album cover is designed to convey the same feelings, therefore, warm colours like orange and red dominate the scene.
