With the rapid development of society in China, more and more office buildings are built, and the distances between buildings have also become narrower. Most office building facades are made of steel and glass. For High-density urbanized areas, glass window facades lead to a series of problems: privacy, light pollution, bird migration danger, high maintenance, etc. To "take care" of the problem caused by the glass window facade in the East Asia region, our project intends to design a traditional Chinese lattice and Mimosa inspired building skin that can accomplish both hand gesture responsive control and auto control according to the sunlight.
